About NEOTEC Trustees & Committees
Each county appoints 2 trustees and 1 alternate to conduct the business of NEOTEC, a 501c3 Ohio Corporation. The duties, responsibilities and relationship between NEOTEC and the JOED board (1 elected official from each of the 10 counties) is outlined in an agreement between NEOTEC and the JOED. NEOTEC standing committees include an executive committee, Foreign Trade Zone committee, logistics committee and a marketing committee. 

The Executive Committee consists of officers of the corporation and chairs of the standing committees. Other committees are made up of trustees, alternates and representatives of partner organizations listed on our Partners USA page. Most NEOTEC trustee and committee meetings are conducted in the NEOTEC offices located in the Administrative Services Building at Kent State University at the corner of Horning and Loop Roads in the City of Kent.
