A voice for the logistics industry in Northeast Ohio
Mission:
The Northeast Ohio Logistics Network is an association of logistics professionals united to provide one voice for the regional logistics industry through the following strategies: Monitoring legislation that will improve the flow of goods, people and information in and out of Northeast Ohio; informing local, state and federal officials about the importance of logistics to the regional economy; and assisting member companies with logistics needs.
The Northeast Ohio Logistics Network was launched by NEOTEC in 2002 to improve market access through initiatives supported by the regional logistics industry. It is an organization that has grown to include nearly 300 area logistics and management professionals who are dedicated to enhancing Northeast Ohio’s world-class multimodal logistics system. Administered by NEOTEC, the network’s objectives are carried out through several committees: legislative, communication, education, programs, and a steering committee.
The membership of the Logistics Network includes shippers, carriers, logistics service providers and public sector representatives who work cooperatively in several ways:
- To address and monitor important legislative issues related to the logistics industry
- To provide an educational forum about the importance of logistics to the regional economy
- To provide logistics networking opportunities for the Northeast Ohio business community
