John Senese joined the Northeast Ohio Trade & Economic Consortium (NEOTEC) in March 2007 as director of operations for its International Trade Assistance Center (ITAC) program. In 2011, he was named vice president of international operations for NEOTEC, and in 2012 helped launch NEOTEC’s Global Trade Group (GTG) division, which provides a complete realm of global trade solutions for companies from basic export assistance to long-term, dedicated international trade support. Mr. Senese has 34 years of experience working for major multinational companies in the chemical, automotive and plastics industries, with 28 years directly focused in international business management.

He began his career in Alaska and moved to Cleveland in the late 1980s to join the international department at B.F. Goodrich. He spent the next 14 years progressing through increasingly responsible positions, including two expatriate assignments in Europe and a corporate role as managing director for their South America business. Mr. Senese subsequently joined Myers Industries as general manager of their international division, where he managed an organization consisting of seven international and two domestic locations and sales in more than 100 countries around the world.

From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Senese served two consecutive terms on the board of the Northern Ohio District Export Council (NODEC), an advisory group to the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Assistance Center. He is currently an adjunct professor at Baldwin Wallace University's School of Business.
